Lovely Stay at the Old Forge Positive: The space, the neatness and facilities provided for comfort of the occupants. Even though the staff aren't physically on sight, they provided prompt responses to your needs. Every item required are in the house. Honestly, its more than an accommodation, its a home and a place to be. Thanks for the effort as I look forward to returning to the Old Forge in no distance future. Negative: The toilet in the master bedroom should have been screened off to provide little privacy if 2 people are in the room. There could have been a means of warming up the rooms downstairs even though its summer. The images used for decorations (not the picture frames) could convey different meaning to different people particularly the very religious. Picture frames would have sufficed, even though too many, in my opinion. The rooftop windows should be opened often to eliminate the sense of dampness in the master bedroom.

Absolutely loved the property and we will be back. Positive: The accommodation is exceptional, such a lovely building. The bed in the main bedroom is one of the best we have ever had. The concerns over the floors and kitchen work surfaces played into my anxiety so I drove everyone mad. But we love the property and would love to come back, our dog also loved it. Negative: Being anxious about the kitchen worktops, it could do with a curtain across the bedroom so the bathroom can be used by other people staying and the taps in the main bedroom are a pain until you get used to them.
