The Cow Shed * WOW Factor Countryside Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Positive: Beautiful settings, very secluded and relaxing, short drive to beautiful beach,shopping outlet, resturants. Negative: Smelt a little of drainage, wasn't really a problem but we had a problem with the hot tub we could not correct, owner gave minimal support and noone was available to rectify.

We were excited for our stay as working mums some precious time for R&R was much anticipated. The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all fixed was not that speedy either. The hot tub was the main highlight & that was in the wrong setting so we could not use it until the morning just before checkout. I booked the early check in & despite chasing if we could checking early which we paid extra for. We did not get informed until 30 mins before the early check in time. Finally the shower drainage didn’t work & the shower because super flooded and pretty impossible to use..

The stay was ok, nice hot tub but the property needs a bit more attention. Positive: The hot tub Negative: The hot tub was t private at all. The floor was dirty. The oven was dirty and caused smoke when cooking One of the bed is on wheels and moves around the room when ever you move causing the pillows to fall down the back of the bed which was dirty The other bedroom had rrappers under the bed No outside light. Lamp inside not working. Wrong coffee pods for machine. Broken fridge door shelf.

Positive: Beautiful location, great interior design in the cow shed, hot tub worked well Negative: No feeling of privacy when in the hot tub area as just a glass screen around and it’s between 2 other rentals. Also there is a camera overlooking the hot tub which is potentially blocked by a tree/plant that is up but I just felt a bit weird about that personally.
