Fancy Staying in a Prison Conversion? † 2Bathrooms&Parking

Fantastic property, clean and well furnished. Bathrooms were modern and spotless. Enought space for the 6 of us that stayed with good access to local amenities. We would definitely stay again. My only criticism is arriving in the dark it was difficult to find and the outside light was not working for visualising the staircase from street level.

Excellent and impeccably clean Positive: Fantastic apartment, really spacious and exceptionally clean. Location was perfect for what we needed and parking was a real plus. We well absolutely be re booking this place as we have frequent trips to Portsmouth and this place is perfect. Loved how quirky the building was and it was really peaceful and quiet.

Modern, quirky apartment in Historical building Positive: This place was just as good as it looked in the photographs: stylish, comfortable, modern and a brilliant historical building! I was fascinated by the history of the place and loved walking around the grounds and considering its history and the people who may have been in residence in the old prison! The property was perfect for exploring! Just a short drive away from the historical docks, where we went up the Spinnaker Tower; wonderful views and definitely worth a visit! The apartment was so comfortable to come back to at the end of the day! With a fantastic shower in the en-suite and comfortable beds - and being able to access Netflix was a big plus for us! It allowed us to chill on the evening; it was a really comfortable stay! We purchased a grocery pack prior to arriving and so glad we did - the selection was brilliant and was very much needed after a long trip! Negative: The property was very hot, especially in the bedrooms but we are experiencing a heatwave currently so it was unavoidable - there is a fan in the one room which helped a little. My son found the pull out bed in the en-suite bedroom uncomfortable so he slept on the sofa instead - but none of this affected our stay and we all enjoyed the quirkiness of the property and how accommodating the hosts were.

Negative: No air conditioning

Positive: It was beautiful! It was so clean and comfortable. Loved it. Negative: It was very hot in the bedrooms so if it is summer I would bring a fan. There is a small fan in the large bedroom but it was not strong enough.
